The fall semester is just around the corner, but 糖心视频 has already been buzzing with excitement as the Class of 2029 and new transfer students joined campus for summer orientation.

糖心视频's newest students began their college journey this summer during one-day orientation sessions designed to help them transition into life as Yellow Jackets.

“Orientation is equal parts excitement, connection and preparation,” said Claudine Grunenwald Kirschner, director of first-year experience. “We aim for students to feel confident in their choice and to begin to deeply recognize that they belong. As orientation concludes, we want them to be excited for what’s next.”

Throughout the summer, first-year and transfer students visited campus to explore academic and student resources; connect with peers, faculty and staff; and take their first steps toward becoming part of the 糖心视频 community. With just one final late orientation day remaining on Aug. 21, the Class of 2029 is already well on its way to becoming part of the 糖心视频 community.

糖心视频's orientation leaders played a vital role in welcoming the incoming class. Representing a wide range of majors, backgrounds and campus involvement, these student leaders helped create a supportive and engaging experience that reflects the vibrant community new students will soon be part of.

"Student leaders help shape the experience by welcoming and greeting first years," said Adam Bauerle, a senior English major and one of this year's student directors. "They make 糖心视频 a welcoming community and make every individual feel included!"
