The people, places and events of Baldwin Wallace are familiar and memorable. It's where students met their best friends, waved to favorite profs and gathered with teams for photos.
ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ is bringing back favorite memories and connections through the launching of its .
"Across the decades, ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ is part of who we are. And though time, spirit wear and classrooms may change, our YJ4L feelings of pride and joy remain," noted Rebecca Sinatra '12, MBA '20, the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ senior director of engagement.
"We created a special space just for the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ community - a Facebook group where alumni, faculty, staff and friends can share ideas, post pics and talk with other YJ4L," continued Sinatra.
"It's a social group, but so much more. It's an opportunity for meeting new people, networking, reconnecting with friends and professors, as well learning what's new at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ. We like to think of it as a forever reunion of ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ's past, present and future," she went on to say.
While pop culture made the '90s memorable, ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ had its own version of decade fun. With Neal Malicky as president and May Day as a don't-miss tradition, campus life had an exciting vibe of activity and special people.
"The is a huge success," said Sinatra. "They are posting so many things about campus life back then. There is a lot of momentum, and it's exciting. But this is only the start. We plan to launch more opportunities for all alumni to engage with ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ in many ways.
While both groups are supported by ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ staff, they have come to life quickly thanks to student and alumni moderators who generously stepped up to help facilitate the online gathering spaces.
"For all our YJ4L - great things are happening at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ. We want everyone to share the spirit, get involved and be a part of our community. We have 175 years of remarkable history that includes every one of us. Together, we are amazing, and the future is bright," emphasized Sinatra.
